This is prob. Gallivants Ferry which is in Horry Co., SC, on Hwy. 501 west of Conway. Hope this helps. I believe you may be referring to the Granby that was located across the river from Columbia, SC. I'm not sure of the boundaries so it may be in Lexington or Richland county. Granby was a very early inland settlement in SC.
