Nov 25, 1958. C. W. Maffett, 63, Johnston -- C. W. Maffett, 63 died at 6:30 pm Tuesday at Self Memorial Hospital, Greenwood, after a serious illness of two weeks. He was in declining healt several years. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Jessie Edwards Maffett; three children, Mrs. J. H. Cox of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, William E. Maffett of Johnston and C. W. "Jack" Maffett of Sandersville, GA; five grandchildren; one sister Mrs. L. D. Clark; and two brothers, Otis C. Maffett and W. Osborn Maffett of Savannah GA. Funeral plans are incomplete. He is buried in Mt.
