Audrey: Are there any old PACE family wills located in these old records at all. I have found out that perhaps Elizabeth PACE was the 1st. wife of Hezikiah Cockrum of Greenville Dist. SC b. 1762 I was told once that Hezikiah was listed in someone else's will but they did not know who's. I am thinking that perhaps he was listed as the husband of Elizabeth perhaps in her FATERS old will maybe....................maybe. Do you see anything at all? Thanks a ton in advance Audrey Gail [email protected] [email protected] BUT ALWAYS embracer and always searching!
Hi Gail, I don't have time right now to work on PACE, but I already have some records on this family in my word processor; do you want to take a look? Gail, I looked at my PACE records, but the only Elizabeth I see on one of those wills is married to a POWELL. If you want to see them anyway let me know. The first PACE is Richard PACE of Surry Co, VA who saved a lot of people during some kind of war(?), Indian trouble (?); anyway, that story seems to be well-known. Stephen PACE had daughters who married PETTYPOOLS...and the reason I've worked some on the PACE line.
