    3. Gail, Hate to butt in again...... I have a John Pace born ca. 1750-1755 Prince George CO VA, married Ann Russell in either Lunenburg or Brunswick CO VA. Moved to Spartanburg Co SC ca 1780´s. I think he left a will in Greenville CO SC ca 1825. One of his sons, Jeremiah Pace moved to Buncombe CO NC where he married Keziah Brittain. Jeremiah Pace sold some land to my Stuart´s in Buncombe Co ca,1812. His wife Keziah Brittain ace was the sister in law of Jacob Stuart. Jacob married Keziah´s sister Nancy Brittain. Now, Jermemiah Pace , the Stuart´s and my Wm. Cockerham/Cochran all show up together in Buncombe by 1810 census. On the 1800 Greenville CO SC census, my Edward and Nathaniel Stewart are listed. Yes, there were some Pace´s in Surry CO NC.
