Billie, Your mystery is solved. Bessie and the sister who married a Roton are children of Lou Koon Mack and grandchildren of Katherine Witt Koon. They are in the Witt book that I and two cousins published in 1998. I worked on this family personally and I'm pretty sure I have that Roton line traced down for a generation or two. I'm not sure if I have the Roton husband's parents, but I might have a death date that will lead you to a death certificate. If my memory serves me correctly, I think some of this family was living in the Coronaca area out near Lake Greenwood when we were researching our book. I am writing from work.
