I have never found that event................you just wrote Audrey that there were PACE folks living in Spartanburg...................................I wonder if it is at all possible that Hez. found and Met Eliz. in Spartanburg, SC married her and then went back to Surry NC in time to have William in 1786! Gail, I have no idea. I can see what the Surry CO NC books have if you´d like. I only have one Wikes Co NC book ,and there were Cockerham´s in Surry, Wilkes and Rutherford CO NC.
