Hi Delores, Good to hear from you again and I know your still digging away for your Lewis Holder. Did I ever send you the 1779 Henry CO VA Militia list? On that appear a Lewis and Solomon Holder. We next find them in Surry CO NC. As to the Bledsoe´s, they intermarried with Holder also. John Holder, son of Davis Holder of Pittsylvania CO VA, married Agnes Bledsoe. John Holder is found in Greenville, SC from at least March of 1795, when he and his wife Agnes buy land. My Edward Stewart and Moses Bledsoe witnessed this deed. Edward Stewart´s brother, Nathaniel married Mary Bledsoe, daughter of an unknown Bledsoe. This info. comes from a letter written in the 1870´s buy a man related to Alfred Holder, where he states his grandmother and granfather were Bledsoe and Stewart. It actually goes into more than that, but I´ll spare everyone the boring details. No, I have never heard of this Bledsoe Book. All of my Bledsoe info came from Bob Bledsoe and Banks McLauren. Banks wrote several boks on the Bledsoe´s and he died last year. I would however be very interested in this Bledsoe book if you think it would help me.
