Lorine; Your post was about your records on ships to SC ports and, since it was addressed to the SC-L mailing list it should NOT have had a link, especially the leading link, to Ancestry.com. It is very evident to me that you are in collusion with Ancestry.com for some reason. Of course this is just my own opinion. Also, I am under the impression that type of activity is not proper as expressed by the list administrator. It seems you clicked on one of the links I have that shows researchers the 14 day free trial to Ancestry.com I think the free trial is a great thing, that's why I have the link to let researchers utilize it or not as they choose. I doubt they have what I do though in the way of ships passenger lists to South Carolina :-) I'm sorry you didn't scroll further down my page at http://olivetreegenealogy.com/ships/tousa_sc.shtml About half way down, you will see my yellow search box, one that you can use to look for your S.C. ancestors on ships. It's my Olive Tree custom built search engine, it's free and it searches 73 ships at present. I'm working hard to find other online passenger lists to include in that search engine, and hopefully I'll have more ships soon. The second URL I gave has the film numbers as I noted in my email http://olivetreegenealogy.com/ships/filmnos_al-fl-ga-sc.shtml Good luck in your search!
