SC RESEARCHERS, For several years I have been using the USGENWEB page for Oglethorpe Co. Ga. while working on my husband's family. I found wills for 5 direct ancestors listed on the site the first time I visited. Over the years, the website has added more and more, and is one of the best sites I have ever used. So I checked on the site for Edgefield and got in touch with the person in charge, who encouraged me to share the wills I had transcribed and posted to the Edgefield Rootsweb List. Several months ago I sent all my transcribed wills there. Have encouraged a couple of fellow family researchers to do the same, and now wish to encourage all of you folks with wills, deeds, equity suits, court records, etc - various source material that would prove to be of much use to others researching the area, to post them to the Edgefield USGENWEB Archives.
