We now have proof that John Cannady/Kennedy born about 1780-1785 in S.C. (probably Barnwell Co., S.C.) is the father of our line who settled in Emanuel County, Ga. He was first in the 1820 Emanuel Co. Census. He married Sarah ? from S.C. We believe their children were: William E. James H. Elizabeth Lucinda Wealthy - confirmed Narcissa - confirmed Daniel B. - confirmed Solomon - confirmed Mary - confirmed Most of the girls married Edenfield's. The men married Durden/Durdeno's.
