Hi Theresa, Might be East District. Each section was a district. Not a township. Greenville Co. was divided into small blocks and numbered. I have not looked at many census records from there although the ones I did look at was greek because the different districts didn't mean anything to me. I knew them by the mill communities. There are somewhere around 50 districts in the county. You would have to get a map with them marked I guess.
