    3. She should offer to do look-ups for those who are members of St. Bart's...membership might increase along with their treasury. I just spoke with DHEC. They are completely out of the microfiche ($44) more are on the way. They are going to put this on CDRom within a few months. I am going to buy it and will send my letter of intention in tomorrow. linda ----- Original Message ----- From: <happytalk44@earthlink.net> To: <SC-Genealogy-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Thursday, August 01, 2002 2:50 PM Subject: Re: [SC] Death Certificate index > Is there anyone on the list who has this index who might be willing to do > look-ups for us? > Thanks > Pat > > Judy Ballard wrote: > > > The Death Certificate Index can be purchased on microfiche from the SC DHEC, > > Columbia, SC. 2. Thank you. Did they by chance say what the cost of CD ROM will be? An estimate when it will be available? donna ----- Original Message ----- From: "Linda" <mhoose@sc.rr.com> To: <SC-Genealogy-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Thursday, August 01, 2002 3:38 PM Subject: Re: [SC] Death Certificate index > She should offer to do look-ups for those who are members of St. > Bart's...membership might increase along with their treasury. > > I just spoke with DHEC. 3. I can do a few lookups if kept to one or two per person. Am really busy with getting the chapter's new building in shape and returning to work.
