William Bannister was executor of the estate of Josiah Brunston (Brunson?, or Bruson?) in Ninety Six District about 1761. Suit against Bannister was brought by both John Maxwell and Moses Thompson. Were they heirs of Brunston? William Bannister, Josiah Brunston, and Thomas McKelvey are alleged to have been half-brothers, with all 3 having the same mother. Can anyone verify any of these relationships, or identify spouses or parents of any of these? Any info will be appreciated.
