James GLEN in Council Chamber 8 Aug 1753. Wit: JAMES DANIELL, Charles STROTHER*, John ALYNK (MYRICK*?). Before Stephen CREEL, J. P. William HOPTON, Register." *Note by Audrey: These three surnames/families are all early VA families. 1. MYRICK (see next record) is a Surry and Brunswick Co, VA family. 2. WESTON is an Isle of Wight Co, VA name (also WESSON) 3. STROTHER is so well known, I probably don't need to say anything. Witnesses: Daniel HOUGH, John LESTER, John MYRICK (see the above record). Before Stephen CREEL, J. P. Lease not proved. William HOPTON, Register."
