Hello to all who responded to the TAYLOR and associated familes. Thank you. If the "History of Richland Families" is documented fact, that is a lot of information, and much appreciated. I even saw some of our own families there. My reason for working on these families has to do with documentation (wills and deeds). So many histories do not give these valuable source. I did see a few deeds at the bottom of the History of Richland Families. Also, I've worked more in VA than in SC, but have roots in both states, as well as states in between and after SC. It has been an effort of many years to tie as many VA families to SC, but through deeds and wills. Our own POOL family is so incorrect on the Internet that I quit trying to tell people I had the record in hand. Hence, when you see wills and deeds here in SC, you will know I am simply clarifying existing records someone has put together, and many times, very well. I also was asked if I knew more about the deeds of the TAYLOR family that settled in SC. The MYRICK family is a well-known family of Surry and Brunswick Counties, VA and is seen often on wills and deeds of same. Indirectly, MYRICK and HOLLOWAY families connect; HOLLOWAY is ours. But, TAYLORS married into our family lines as well. Thanks again for your help. Audrey
Audrey, I missed your info on the TAYLOR family. Could you run that through again? I have a Virginia TAYLOR family, one or two of whom moved to S.C. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Audrey Pool" <aep@madnet.net> To: <SC-Genealogy-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Thursday, January 26, 2006 6:33 PM Subject: [SC] Re: Richland, SC Families > Hello to all who responded to the TAYLOR and associated familes.
