My gggrandmother was Catherine Chappell who married Samuel Whitson born 1818 in Green County AL. Catherine and Samuel lived in Fayette County AL. Catherine is the daughter of Miles Chappell born Amelia County VA and Priscilla Parker. My grandmother Ella Whitson Randolph is the granddaughter of Catherine Chappell. Ella married John Samuel Gant, grandson of the John Gant who I believe descends from Almon and Nancy Bramblett Gant. This may be still another Gant/Bramlett/Robertson/Chappell connection!
