Please note that Edward JONES' will gives his son, Joseph, just that. Elizabeth names him as Josiah. A common interchange of a given name; perhaps means the same. Other surnames seen on documentation indicates a relative and one way to track a direct line. I know many of you already know this, but there is always someone new beginning their research.
