I visited the Hammond Family Cemetery on Martintown Rd. in North Augusta today to place flags and was very dissappointed to see that the grass was knee high. Doesn't look like its been cut at all this season. Does anyone know who to contact? In this little cemeter of about 50 plots there are veterans of every American war from the Revolution though Vietnam. I don't know whether we Hammonds are very patriotic or just can't get along with anybody else. (grin). Anyway, I'm sorry to see it in such sad shape for Memorial day. I thought the cemetery was being cared for by a fund. John Rigdon
