Thank you for the information and your time. I am stuck at John Lee born probably about 1730ish, but you have given me two counties to look at on the chance he may have strayed from the coastal plain. There were (and still are) a lot of Lees and many of them were/are related. Thanks again. ----- Original Message ----- From: Audrey E. Also, the Noah LEE that was mentioned by HUGHES. Lee, Sr. died abt. 1848 in Horry Co.; his father was Noah, born 1766, death unknown but who does appear on the 1820 & 1850 census in Horry Co.; and John Lee who arrived in Charleston abt. 1753-54. I really appreciate your offer to help others and would be grateful for any info you may find on the Lees. Shirley, Send me an e-mail with your address, separately. When I click on your address here, it returns. I have some info you might could use if you don't find your LEE family on the Net. We also have a LEE connection in our POOL family, but they migrated from Johnston Co, NC. Some may have gone through SC.
