Hi, There is a LEONARD family in Laurens, SC. Many times they brought the mother's name down in the family. However, there isn't much on TINSLEY that connects to anyone. See the following and let me know if anything is familiar. Laurens County, SC, Wills, 1884-1840. "16 June 1796. sale of estate of William TINSLEY, dec'd. Purchasers: Catherine TINSLEY, Joseph GALLEGLY, William GARY, Wm CASON, Henry JOHNSTON, James NEILL, Abraham TINSLEY, Rob't MC ADAMS, John ENTREKIN." "Appraisal of estate of Abraham TINSLEY, dec'd by C. LITTEL, James BRYSON and Jonathan BLAKELY." (no date) "2 Aug 1806. Estate of Abraham TINSLEY, dec'd. Adm: Nancy TINSLEY." "5 Feb 1810. Adm. of estate of Abraham TINSLEY, dec'd to Nancy TINSLEY revoked and Henry JOHNSON qualified as exr. and names in will produced by him. 5 Jan 1804. Will of Abraham TINSLEY. Wife Nancy; son William and daughter Sarah and Mary; debt to be paid to Jos CASON collected from Chas. HUET (HEWETT). Exr: brother James TINSLEY, father in law Henry JOHNSON and wife Nancy TINSLEY.
