Question for AOL Users Apparently there is some technique for sending (example) a dozen people the same genealogical inquiry without having to write 12 separate letters. I have received such letters and as well as I remember there is no addressee's name in the SEND TO BOX. There might be wording of some kind in the COPY TO BOX. For those of us who use the typing method of HUNT & PECK, this would be a life saver. If I am not making myself clear, please advise. Grateful for any suggestion, other than "go learn to type." Dover
Harold, Could'nt you open the address book, highlight names you want to send, copy and save, send from your e-mail address...? Wouldn't this be much like sending something from a word processor? I work on wills/deeds in the processor, hit select/copy from drop down and go back to my e-mail and hit paste. I tried to highlight more than one, but looks like it would have to be done one at a time; not much help here. I think you could ask for all of the addresses in your "book" but you may not want to do that! Thinking about the above, could you save as many as you want in the word processor, select and copy, minimize, go to e-mail and paste? Is this what you are trying to do? "Learn to type" is a put-down. My husband gets so frustrated because he never learned to type.
