    3. May 20, 2006 from 9:00 until 5:00pm. The tour will begin at the Old Santee Canal and Museum located in Moncks Corner, SC 29461. The price of the tour is $40.00 and this includes a box lunch if you reserve your ticket before the day of the tour. On the day of the tour the price will still be $40.00 but you will have to purchase your own meal at the Country Club. The tour will begine with a tour through the museum and then a tour of the Old Whitesville School that was moved to the site next to the museum in May 2005 and most of the renovation will be complete by the date of the tour. There is also and 1840's plantation house that will be seen but not viewed due to a wedding that will be taking place. The model of the "Little David" the first successful semi-submercible sub-marine that was built secretely and then launched from the site. From the museum and park we will go to the new Berkeley County Administrative Building(formerly an old K-Mart store) and the new LIbrary. These are especially interesting because of the murals that are on the walls depicting various historical events and sites. Then to the 1725 Nesbitt House/Chamber of Commerce. This building was moved to its present site from Cypress Gardens. Then to the gardens of Gippy Plantation formerly the home of Nicholas and Ann Roosevelt and now the home of Frank and Susan Finlaw. From there to the Berkeley Country Club for lunch. Now to Mulberry Plantation(North and South) 1710. This is a site that you will never forget! Our day will end at St. James Goose Creek Church 1714 and this is a most interesting church with lots of history. The museum number is 843-899-5101. Fax # is 843-899-5101.
