Hi, Harold; You cannot add information to a .FBK file. If you click on a file with that extension, it will automatically open as the same name with a FTW extension. FBK files are automatically created every time you close a session with FTM, and it's only purpose is to provide a backup for that session. The next time you open your file (FTW) and make changes, they will automatically be saved to your FBK file. The only time you should open a backup file, is if your original file is corrupted, or for some other reason is unusable, and then you have to rename your backup file in order to save it (so the old FTW file will not overwrite the file.) This is one reason it's good to save a backup file every once in a while (and copy it to a floppy disk or CD.)
