    3. Larry, We have THOMPSONS and most likely from SC. Ours went to Jasper Co, GA, then to AL (Montgomery County). Some of our THOMPSONS are buried in Talledega Co, AL, but lived in the previous locations. If this concerns THOMPSONS of Laurens County, SC, I may have some records for you. There was only one [1] family with the surname of BOLAND in the whole state for the 1790 Census. They lived in Camden District, Fairfield County. BOLAND, Musker shows 2 males over 16; 1 male under 16; and 3 females. That's just the way the given name is spelled, too. Hope that this will help. Bill
