Susan, As far as I know our only connection to the Jones Family is Elizabeth Jones who had a Elizabeth Talbot living with her in the SC 1850 Census. I am sorry I don't know of a connection. I've been reading all those TALBOT entries with great interest. I have the TALBOT name in my family, not as a surname, but as a middle name for the women.
