    3. Hi Helen, I have no idea. All I have is their names (John H. & Honor), that is what I'd like to find out, who their parents were or possible siblings. The timeframe is so frustrating when trying to find data from the Census, since names other than head of household weren't listed until 1850. I sure thank you for your response. Another Parker researcher pointed out to me that I had some data on Daniel J. Parker, one of the sons of John H. & Honor mixed up with another Daniel J. Parker. I do so appreciate folks taking the time to do things like that! Maybe it will lead to us all being helped. As to your question about the other surnames. I do not know of any connection to them at this time. I don't find the names in my data. There are some Williams, but more recent in the mid to late 1900s. I do have a Williams connection on my paternal side, my gg-grandmother was Elizabeth B. "called Eliza" Williams, I don't know ANY thing about her family yet. She married my gg-grandfather [obviously ;-) ] William Riley Driver, 24 December 1865 in Suwannee County, Florida. Thanks again. Sharon Could John H. Parker be the Henry Parker who married one of the Smith daughters in Edgefield? Other Smith daus. married Runnels, Williams, and Boddie. Do any of these names ring a bell?

    3. In 1790 census HEADS OF FAMILIES, SC, there are 7 listings for McKnight. Five of these are found in Georgetown District, Prince Fredericks Parish. James McKnight is found in Camden District, Clarendon Co. and Elizabeth McKnight is found in Beaufort District. Best bet probably would be Georgetown District, where the 5 families are found. Hope this helps. ================================ email screened by Norton AntiVirus 2002 ================================ ----- Original Message ----- From: "Moms Mail" <dorpa@starpower.net> To: <SC-Genealogy-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Thursday, October 10, 2002 1:12 AM Subject: [SC] Thomas McKnight b 1790 SC d 1844 in Missouri > I'm trying to research Thomas.
