    3. Thanks, Audrey! I always appreciate your input! God bless, Dolores -----Original Message----- From: Audrey E. Pool [mailto:ddpool@madnet.net] Sent: Tuesday, October 22, 2002 1:28 AM To: SC-Genealogy-L@rootsweb.com Subject: Re: [SC] POOLE, Rebecca, dau of James POOL Dolores, Whoever said James was the s/o John POOL & Mahulda was certainly in error. John POOL and James are contemporaries. John was b. 1755-60, making him very near the same age as James. I see your James in notes/deeds or wills of Southside VA and suspect we are missing a link that would give us the parents. It is my guess that John, James and a Henry POOL of Edgefield, SC may be brothers, but someone took Henry POOL (spelled that way) and connected him to the PETTYPOOL family. The same thing has happened with our John POOL, connected to the PETTYPOOL family, but records do not support this. I think your James POOL lived on Reedy Creek in one of the Southside counties of VA. The fact that there is a Gabriel POOL in your line, as well as ours, indicates a possible connection between the two families, but not father/son...probable brothers. 2. Hi Audrey! In one of your postings, I noticed that you said that a genealogy of the Bolling family was listed. Could you look up a Bolling/Bowling for me? My ggg-grandmother, was Darcus Levisa Bolling. She married James W. Fisher, JR in 1816 in Spartanburg Co, SC. She was born 1798 possibly in Burke Co, NC. Darcus died in 1880 at Lake Toxaway, Transylvania Co, NC. I cannot find her parents. I have found one sibling, I think he was her brother, anyway. He moved up to NC when James and Darcus did. His name was Dudley A. Bolling. There seems to be two Dudley Bolling's around at the same time, different locales. Thanks!! Patricia A. 3. Hi, Kit; Do you have any dates or other information on the family of Hoyt/Hoyle FOWLER? I have an unknown FOWLER m. Fetney SNIPES probably in Wake co., NC, in abt 1859. They had two children, William FOWLER, b. 1860 and Leonard FOWLER, b. 1868. Most of Fetney's family (parents and siblings) moved to Anderson, SC, so she and her husband may also. If any of this looks familiar, we may be able to pin them down in the census.
