    3. Beth, I live in Atlanta,Ga. and in the AJC (our one and only paper) was an article written by a Ms. Margaret OBrien that had recently moved to our wonderful city. She wrote in her article that she had always heard that Southerners were very nice well mannered people. But she could not believe that we had taken the bodies from the Hunley and were now going to bury them!!!! My question to you is what else would a well mannered Southerner do? Of course I have written the paper a reply...........but they are so liberal they probably will not print it. Claudia C. Shumate southern to the end and thereafter!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 3. I wish I knew the answers to your questions, but I do not. I descend from much earlier Mobleys -- Edward and his son Clement, who died before 1800. Clement's daughter married Rev soldier Richard Neely, of Fairfield Co SC. Each day, I try to help some one with a look-up, and yours was the one for the day on 17 February. 3. fyi...you might find one that connects to your ancestor... Library of Congress: The Panoramic Photograph Collection contains approximately four thousand images. These panoramas offer an overview of the nation, its enterprises and its interests, with a focus on the start of the twentieth century when the panoramic photo format was at the height of its popularity. The images date from 1851 to 1991 and depict scenes in all fifty states and the District of Columbia. More than twenty foreign countries and a few U.S. territories are also represented. These panoramas average between twenty-eight inches and six feet in length, with an average width of ten inches. Most are World War I and earlier.
