    3. Margie, There are no DERISOS in the SC wills index. There are several HOLIDAY/HOLLIDAY wills listed. Are you looking for the above in SC? If so, you need to send more information than just the surnames. 1. Grant brother's picture
    2. Eddie Cox
    3. I have a picture taken sometime around,1900-1910, of five "GRANT" brothers who were in the Laurens-Greenwood-Greenville area during this time. I have the names for three of them, but I can only ID one of them for sure. Benjamin F. Grant was my great-grandfather, and two of his brothers were named William, and John. Ben died in 1934, William in 1938, and John in 1963. I have no names for the other two brothers. There was also two sisters in this family. Sallie, died 1937, and Bessie, who died in 1957. Their parents were George and Mary Mitchell Grant. I would like to make contact with anyone with info on this family, and I will be glad to email the picture to anyone who may can help ID the brothers. Thanks, Eddie

    3. For any of you researching the POPE families of VA to SC, you may want to look these records over. It is my opinion that they are all related. Note the same given names, but also how they give the counties and states other than the NC county of Edgecombe. The best kind of research! 3. Thanks, but VAN POOLE is not POOLE or PETTYPOOL. As far as I know...and I've checked, there is no DNA for the two names I am interested in. When that happens there are a couple of men who I think will head that. My comment was prompted by my interest in the two names mentioned, and we need someone who is excited about DNA.
