He said that the bible was held by someone named Walter I. Herbert in or around Newberry. There is also a transcripted family history that I only have the first page of, done by a D. O. Herbert from Orangeburg, SC in December 1929. I hope you don't mind me attaching it. Hopefully you can all read it.
