His daughter Caroline Mote married Joseph E. Mooney from Wrightsborough, Georgia in 1817. Joseph E. Mooney was the son of John Mooney and Mary Mendenhall. We know the Mooney and Mendenhall families were Quaker, but do not know about the Mote family.
