Hello Bush River Friends: A consensus seems to be developing for scheduling a 2nd Bush River Homecoming in the summer of 2010, rather than 2011. As I surveyed the committee chairmen for this year's Reunion, especially, they all were very enthusiastic about getting another Homecoming on the calendar. Ann Crowley and I are in favor, also. I personally think that our weekend in Newberry was absolutely fabulous because of the wonderful people that I met and our Wagon Road adventure. I very much look forward to seeing old friends and meeting new ones in 2010. So.......let's get thinking about this! Our feedback from this spring's meeting suggests that people would like to have time for small groups to talk about and exchange info on specific families. I think we might want to spend some group time at the new Newberry library so that we could learn about the facilities and research there. What else do you suggest? Please let us know your thoughts! Give us your wish list! Soon I'll probably be able to have some committees for which you might be interested in volunteering. But, if you want to volunteer right now, let me know that, too.
