If it helps any, here's a webpage I found on Thomas Lightfoot who was supposedly a friend of William the Quaker: http://www.carsonjohnson.com/chapter32-lightfoot.htm His son Michael and Michael's wife Mary were members of the New Garden Monthly Meeting in Chester County, PA where William Edmundson and family (including Caleb) lived. When Caleb married Esther Underhill at the Nottingham MM in Maryland, Michael and Mary Lightfoot were present. None of this proves anything, of course, but I believe the relationship between the Edmundsons and Lightfoots in Ireland is relatively well established somewhere too.
