    3. Hi, Alice - I wonder if you are related to the Tom Minton who is an elder in my church (in Durham, North Carolina) ... If you are interested in contacting him, let me know, and I will ask him if I can send you his email address. Thanks, Sue Wyatt -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of [email protected] Sent: Monday, May 12, 2008 8:41 PM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [SC-BUSHRIVERQUAKERS] MINTON According to the research done by my cousin John Morris, I have Quaker roots in the Bush River Meeting on the maternal Morris line! And I am now a Quaker after being a Lutheran (paternal side) for many years. Can anyone add to the info he has given me. Thanks. Alice M. Wald Samuel and Rachel Minton were the parents of Thomas Minton. Thomas Minton and Hannah Minton were married in 1761. They were the parents of Rebecca who married Samuel Morris Sr. in 1792 in Union County, SC. Rebecca's siblings were: Hannah 13 Oct 1762 Thomas(Jr?) 12 June 1763 (Only 8 months difference in age for Thomas and Hannah?) Richard 23 Apr 1765 (Died around 1810) Lydia 26 April 1766 M1 John Minton? M2. Best guess is the Minton's came from Great Ness, Shropshire, England some time in early 1700's or late 1600's. ************** Wondering what's for Dinner Tonight?
