Hello Mary, I have spent some time reviewing this information, and it is still on my desk. I have James and Hannah shown under Olive, but I think that may be wrong. I do not show a source, and I want to spend some more time with a lot of material I received from Ralph Hawkins Bower. He descends from Levi, Hannah's brother. No I haven't corresponded with Ralph. I found what I believe to be the marriage record of my gr gr grandfather Joseph Hollingsworth (son of Joseph and Margaret) to Hannah Hawkins (dt of Benjamin and Martha) dated 24 Jan 1811 in volume V of Hinshaw (Ohio). They were married at Elk Monthly Meeting. That was my only indication that her mother was Martha Hollingsworth. I've been working on DAR papers for James Hawkins (father of Benjamin) and have requested a copy of another application that went through Benjamin and Martha Hollingsworth not too long ago. Maybe that will provide more information. Thanks. -----Original Message----- From: Phil Hawkins [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Thursday, May 01, 2008 4:40 PM To: [email protected]; [email protected] Subject: Re: [SC-BUSHRIVERQUAKERS] SC-BUSHRIVERQUAKERS Digest, Vol 2,Issue 42 - Hannah Hawkins Hollingsworth Hello Mary, I have spent some time reviewing this information, and it is still on my desk.
