    3. Here is a record with a Charles MILES. "Page 92: Deed made 5 Aug 1782 bet. John MILES of Camden Dist. of one part and CHARLES MILES of the other part. For one thousand and lbs. pd. by CHARLES MILES do grant 138 acres in Craven County on north side of Broad River on a branch of Turkey Creek being part of 200 acres granted to James MILES. Wit: William GIVIN, william MILES, Richard MILES. Signed: John MILES." I looked in my Newberry will book, but no Charles. Also checked Annals of Newberry, but no Charles; however, there are other MILES names. A couple of wills in my Index of SC for Samuel MILES and another for Sarah MILES. The wills are not in my will book for Newberry County. In my Quaker book for SC, there are MILES, but no Charles. Do you think the above deed could be your Charles MILES?
