My Townsend family keeps me interested in the SC area. It is funny that my daughter attended Ferman U. which was sooo close to the area the Townsends called home for a number of years. I am pleased with the info. I have found of their time in SC. I am from the area near Darke Cty, Ohio where many finished their travels. It has been a wonderful history. Our group has, undoubtedly, the best researchers to be found on the South Carolina Quaker families. It is unfortunate that we all, for the most part, live so far away.
