I am confused..... I have Rachel Well's half-sister as living only a year, b. 1724 and d 1725. Rachel did have a daughter named Charity, b 1745 who was a rather famous Quaker minister who went back to Europe to preach/teach, but she married Isaac Cooke. Has anyone researched this family and would be willing to share. Did he marry twice? I just found out that Rachel Wells descends from Thomas Wells and Francis (not verified surname) and my Ashe Co NC also descends from Thomas Wells and Francis. Rachels Wells sister Charity married Joseph Wright. Their brother, Joseph married Charity Carrington and their son Joseph Wells married Margaret Dicks/Dix, daughter of Zachariah Dix the prophet that laid the seeds for the great migration out of Bush River. This family is really getting interesting! They go back to Hopewell MM. Wrights are a big group and I would appreciate any help I can get. I am hoping to find more connections between my Blevins/Ward/Wells and other Bush River people that came to Miami Co Ohio. Other families that ties into this group is the Marshalls and Pughs (my line, so ok there).
