    1. Re: [SC-BUSHRIVERQUAKERS] Bush River Baptist Church records
    2. James Chapman
    3. My name is James Chapman. I, too, am interested in the Bush River Baptist Church records. I have good reason to believe that Sarah Chapman and Elizabeth Teague on the extant church roll are my family -- although the dates don't seem to match. The Chapmans moved to South Carolina in 1760. I wonder if their names were added from an old Bush River Baptist Church roll. Sarah was the wife of Giles Chapman, and Elizabeth was their daughter. They had been members of the Cane Creek Monthly Meeting in North Carolina before movimg their membership to Frederickburg MM in South Caroline. That monthly meeting became Bush River MM, but their names never appeared on the church rolls at Bush River MM. Comments, please. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Tina & Bill Swyers" <bswyers@cableone.net> To: <sc-bushriverquakers@rootsweb.com> Sent: Wednesday, September 21, 2011 11:42 AM Subject: Re: [SC-BUSHRIVERQUAKERS] Bush River Baptist Church records > Bush River Baptist Church was established in 1771.
