Looking for parents of Joseph and Anson Walter Sawyer. On 9 Aug 1858 Joseph Sawyer, age 10, was apprenticed to Benjamin F. Spencer, farmer, Hyde Co., NC and Anson Walter Sawyer, age 7, was apprenticed to Silas S. Lupton, farmer, Hyde Co. I assume they were brothers. In 1850 Hyde Co census there was only one Joseph near age 2. There was a Joseph, 5/12, in household of Bennett Sawyer, 31, Malinda, 30, Juletta, 8, and Tilson, 7, in Currituck District. Thanks.
