Hello, I am new to the SAWYER list and was hoping to find some help here. My grandmother was Eva Pearl Sawyer, born May 6, 1894, in La Grange, Maine. She married Joseph John Vachon, born in Middleton, New Hampshire. Her father was Horatio M. Sawyer, born in Milbridge, Maine and her mother was Dora (or Cora) B. Durgon/Durgin born in Medford, Maine. My 2nd great-grandparents were: Sewell B. Sawyer, born about 1819. Sewell married Martha Jane Stover. William Dungin and married Unknown Johnson. If you have any info on this SAWYER line, I would appreciate any help you are willing to give me. I have some info on SAWYERS that may be helpful to you, and I would love to share it. I don't know if these SAWYERS are related to Eva or not. Haven't made the connection.
