I can not find any reference to Pharoah Sawyer. I have checked all the books and reference material I have on Sawyers and can find nothing, which , of course, means nothing. There were numerous Sawyers in northeastern NC and more "arriving" everyday. He may not have been related to the original Sawyers in the Pasquotank area late 1600' and early 1700's. Sorry, but if I ever do come across the name and any info I will pass it on to the list.
