Does anyone have a Willis Sawyer who died in 1809. His wife's name was Sarah. A newspaper article of August 17, 1809 states that he was from Bertie County, NC, and that property he owned on and near Martin's Point in Currituck County would be sold to the highest bidder at the home of Willis Gallop, Esq. on the North Banks in Currituck Co. on the 5th of Oct 1809.
