Hi All, I've run across a couple of Sawyer marriages in CT and I wonder if anyone knows of these Sawyers (taken from "Early CT Marriages As Found in Ancient Church Records prior to 1800", vol 1, Frederick W. Bailey, 1896): Elijah Hill of Granby, CT and Betsey Sawyer of Saybrook, CT at the Chester (earlier a section of Saybrook) 3rd Congregational Church 3 April 1797 James Sawyer and Anna Rogers at East Haddam, Millington Church (2nd Congregational Church, founded 1736) 20 Sep 1756 I'm particularly interested in James Sawyer and who his parents were.
