Looking for information on the family of Stephen Decatur Sawyer. Stephen Sawyer was born in Holmes County, Mississippi in 1865 or 1867. He was a Baptist Minister for 45 years, many of them at Philadelphia Baptist Church in Brinkley, Arkansas. Stephen was also a member of the Arkansas Legislature for four different sessions (1907/1909/1925/1927). Stephen died at his home south of Brinkley, Monroe County, Arkansas on 3 January 1944.
