Hi to all, I'm looking for William Sawyer married to (1)Abigail Lilley and (2) Dorcus Burnap. My line is from William's first marriage (Abigail) Henry Sawyer their only child. I have not been able to find William's father. One has it as Samuel Sawyer of Newbury another says Thomas Sawyer of Lancaster, Ma. Neither really fit as William was born in Lancaster, Ma but Thomas has other children born at the same time as William. There are no vital records showing him born either place. Big mystery.
