Hello again- Now I have read through some of the previous replies. I wonder if there is anyway to find out who owned slaves. My father Daniel Myles Sawyer is African American, and his father (who has the same name) is as well and was born in North Carolina. Does anyone else have some black Sawyer relatives? Lena Sawyer
