I have a book "Scroggins in Macoupin, Montgomery, & Madison Counties Illinois" compiled by Ellen DalPozzo. It seems the Scroggins and Sawyers did quite a lot of inter-marrying. Daniel Bowen's son, Harrison, is my husband's Grandfather, through his daughter, Ellen Sawyer who married Fred Boudreau.I would be glad to exchange information.
