Mrs. L. H. SAWYER of 810 South Ninth street, Armourdale, had an exciting experience with a drunken man early this morning. Mrs. SAWYER's husband is a fireman in Kansas City, Kas., and she was alone in the house. About 2 o'clock a man knocked on the door and called to her to let him in. Mrs. SAWYER ran to a rear window for help. The visitor broke open the door and entered. When the police came they found him sound asleep in a bed in the front room. His feet were on the pillow. He was taken to No. 3 station and locked up.
