Does anyone have Phineas Sawyer in there Sawyer line? My ancestor is Phineas Sawyer born about 1785 married to Sarah Jane Kennedy (Canade) of Vermont. They married Jan. 1, 1819 in Chazy, NY They lived in Franklin, CO. Vt. in 1820 Census and Franklin, CO. N. Y in the 1830 Census. Went to Ohio (Summit Co. area) about 1834 . In 1850 Phineas died in Mackinac Mi. Sarah Jane remarried a Henry Shuman in Stow Ohio. He died and she went to Mi. with her daughter Eunice and family and died in Cascade Twp. Kent CO. Mi. The children of Phineas and Sarah Jane were; Mary Ann Sawyer, Sarah Jane Sawyer, William K. Sawyer, Silas Sawyer and Eunice Sawyer. Please contact me at [email protected]
